1. Students of 2002-2006 batch have secured 13 ranks announce by the JNTU 2. 6 of our 2007-2008 academic year students secured good scores in TOFEL and GRE tests and these students have got admission into various MS Programmes in difference foreign Universities. 3. ECE Innovations – 2008: The Department of ECE has conducted a competition entitled ECE Innovations – 2008 displayed about 20 working models of interesting electronic gadgets which can be used in our daily life. About 60 students have enthusiastically participated in this event. The ECE Department has taken a decision to make ECE Innovations 2008 a regular annual event. 4. On Campus and Off Campus Selections : A Training and Placement Cell has been opened in the college campus 4 years ago to help students in planning their career under expert guidance. A large number of our students got placements in leading software companies so far. I am extremely happy to announce that 80 studnets of our college have been selected through various Campus Interviews by various MNCs like Satyam, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Syntel, Smadurk, Infotech on campus and off campus in the academic year 2007-08. The number of selected students on campus is 40 with a breakup of CSE(6), ECE(12), EEE(12), Mech(6), IT(4). The number of selected students off campus is 40 with a breakup of CSE(6), ECE(13), EEE(13), Mech(4), IT (4). · Computer Science & Engineering Department Placement Activities : The following students selected as programmers /Software Engineers in various MNC’s through On/Off campus interviews.
· Electronics & Communication Engineering Department 1. Miss. P.Indumati (IV ECE) participated in JNTU Zone-C Tournament held at Sai Spurthi College of Engineering, Sathupally has secured I prize in Shuttle Singles. 2. Mr. G.Srinivasa Babu (IV ECE) was the captain of Basketball College team participated in JNTU Zone-C Tournament held at Sai Spurthi College of Engineering, Sathupally and achieved winners in Basketball team. · Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department 1. Miss. M.Chandana Priyanka, H.T.No.: 03651A0214 was the topper for the academic year 2007-08 and stood I in achieving highest percentage in the college and won a cash prize of Rs.3000.00 2. Miss. R.Pavani, stood II in achieving a percentage of 84.25% and won a cash prize of Rs.1500.00 3. 1. Mr. T.V.S. Jithendra Kumar and Mr. K. Guru Babu , III year CSE have won 1st Prize for their paper presentation on P.C Medico in the Infinity 2K9 organized by Osmania University in March 2009. Mr. B. Giri Babu and D. Nagendra Rao, III year CSE worn 2nd Prize in the same event. 2. The College has initiated steps to establish an IEEE student branch on our campus. The IEEE student branch would facilitate our students and faculty members to access all IEEE publications for upgrading their technical knowledge and to actively participate in research. 3. Nexus 2009 : The students of CSE department of our college have successfully organized a State-level programme called Nexus-09 on 14th March 2009 and 15th March 2009. This programme consists of a Paper presentation contest and a Technical Quiz contest. Students from various colleges across Andhra Pradesh state have enthusiastically participated in this event and won several prizes. 4. Jawahar Knowledge Centre (JKC) : Our College has established a Jawahar Knowledge Centre popularly known as JKC in the academic year 2006-07 with an intake of 50 students by spending around Rs. 20.00 lakhs. The purpose of JKC is to train the students who have already been selected in various prominent MNCs. At present, the JKC on our campus enjoys Star-JKC status. 5. On Campus and Off Campus selections : A Training and Placement Cell has been opened in the college campus 5 years ago to help students in planning their career under expert guidance. A large number of our students got placements in leading software companies so far. I am extremely happy to announce that 92 students of our college have been selected out of a total of 180 students appeared through various on-campus interviews by various software companies like Blue Star Technologies, I-Tech Solutions, Systems Strategies limited, Mcraan Systems etc. in the current academic year 2008-09. The breakup of the selected students branch wise is CSE(42), ECE(27), ?EEE(03), IT(18), Mech(02). It is a matter of pride to state that our college stood first in student placements out of all colleges in 3 districts, namely Khammam, Nalgonda and Warangal. 6.
